Faux Jean
a.k.a. Matty Schindler
Faux Jean inhabits a fake world where life lacks verisimilitude. Diagnosed with monomania at the tender age of four, Faux Jean came clean and asked for a tigar. Dream visions were as real as the air that you may be breathing right now. Angels hung in the sky over Duluth. A guitar came at Christmas and songs soon followed, though a fair amount of aimless strumming along to his parents' records took place as well. Now he leads the Faux Jean band into the rarified surrealism of release number four, written over the span of ten years, recorded over the span of two. A retreat from reality, we'll call it "Light it Up, Burn it Down."
